Clifford E. Turner

Apostle/Founder

Apostle Clifford E. Turner was a pioneering visionary leader way before his time.  He began Liberty Temple Full Gospel Church and World outreach ministries in his mother in laws basement with two members —- his wife, Co-Pastor Denise M. Turner. and his brother.

Apostle Turner’s bold and inspiring messages and cutting edge approach to ministry was unheard of during his early days.

Launching his coffee house ministry in 1978, as well as pioneering husband and wife ministry teams, prophetic conferences, praise dance, and Christian drama and film, Liberty Temple Full Gospel Church of Chicago soon became not only one of the fastest growing ministries of its time, but one of the most impactful in terms of shifting the culture of Christendom, particularly in Chicagoland and abroad.

After 17 years of pastoring the church he founded in 1982, Apostle Turner and his wife,  Apostle Darlyn Turner, founded The Liberty International Network.  Apostle Turner established over 42 ministries overseas and over 20 locations and bible studies state wide.  He was also a writer, producer and director.

His television series, The Awakening, won an Emmy Award and 4 Angel Awards.

Apostle Turner’s vision was that God’s Spirit was needed in every industry and aspect of society.

The Liberty International Network expanded to include individuals, organizations, businesses, schools, ministries and churches that desired to impact and take dominion in every aspect of society.

Apostle Turner passed away on January 16, 2018.   Apostle Turners impact and legacy  touched millions through radio, television, books, sermons, and his personal ministry, and continues to expand through both his natural and spiritual sons and daughters, and The Liberty International Network vision.
