Charlene Waddell

Charlene Waddell is a minister, motivational speaker, trainer, coach, and business professional who has a passion to develop leaders and see people grow.  Charlene has over 35 years of experience in spiritual and practical teaching, organizational leadership, church administration, and finance. 

She worked in Administration and Finance for over 30 years supporting Liberty Temple’s private K-12 school - Liberty Temple Academy, Logos Ministerial Training Intitule. its 5,000-member congregation headquartered in Chicago, and its global network of Churches.  She was ordained as an Evangelist in 1990 and promoted to Elder in 1996.

Waddell developed ministry curriculums as an instructor, created and taught courses on Stewardship and Budgeting at LOGOS Ministerial Training Institute. Charlene also taught elementary and high school level Theology classes at Liberty Temple Academy.

Waddell coordinated major church planting and outreach crusades for Liberty International Network including 2 regional crusades in Southern California in 1999 to launch the ministry’s San Diego church.  Charlene relocated to San Diego to lead the development of the church along with its auxiliary and outreach ministries. Charlene served as Senior Leader, and Administrative Officer of Liberty Temple Full Gospel Church of San Diego for 15 years. In 2019 Charlene was commissioned as an Apostle and ordained in 2021.

She currently serves as an Apostle, Servant Leader, Consultant, and Trainer for the Liberty International Network. Her responsibilities include developing leadership and operational training curriculums, establishing infrastructure for new and existing ministries and ministerial programs, assessing team dynamics, training new clergy appointees and ministerial teams, and providing ongoing educational support locally and Internationally.

During her service to the ministry, Charlene was diagnosed with stage-4 colon cancer, God miraculously healed her, and she is now healthy and celebrating 18 years of being cancer free!  Serves the community as an advocate for those diagnosed with cancer and other life threatening illnesses .Serves as San Diego Blood Bank spokesperson, works  Suicide Prevention and provides training in Homeless shelters. 

Charlene is an Executive Director, Certified Coach, Speaker, and Trainer with the John Maxwell Team. She serves on the John Maxwell Team President’s Advisory Council (PAC) as Team Leader on JMT Touch. Charlene serves with over 51,000 other John Maxwell Certified Coaches worldwide and travels to foreign Countries doing Transformational leadership Training. Charlene is a DISC certified Behavioral Studies Consultant. Charlene was ordained in ministry as a graduate of LOGOS Ministerial Training Institute in Chicago, Illinois.  She studied Accounting at the City Colleges of Chicago, holds a Certificate of Financial Accountability for Churches and Related Non-Profits. Waddell’s strength is Learner and she ever pursuing ways to grow and educate herself in various arenas to enhance he leadership capacity.
