Chablay Samuda

Chablay Samuda is the wife of Pastor Ransford Samuda and serves as Co-Pastor and one of the Praise and Worship Leaders at Liberty Temple Full Gospel Church of San Diego.  A Chicago native, Chablay Samuda earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.  She went on to pursue a career in Social Services, having a burden for youth who’ve suffered from abuse and low self-esteem.  While working as a case manager at an infant mortality clinic on Chicago’s west side, she was offered a position as the Development/Recruitment Director at her alma mater, an all-girl Catholic High School.  After gaining a strong and positive repour with the students, the school’s principal encouraged her to instead, take on the position as the Director of Guidance Counseling.  

In this new role, Chablay helped to strengthen a close community of students by developing programs that focused on building their self-esteem and helping them to discover their various giftings.  As a result, she assisted each graduating class in obtaining 100% college acceptance.  Today, many of her former students are in successful careers and attribute their success to the positive support they received in high school.  

In addition, Chablay also has experience in customer service and administration.  She is devoted to making sure those around her know that they are loved and valued.
